The first page of the second chapter!
We’ve made some slight changes to the characters beginning in this chapter, which we feel were necessary for creating a more faithful translation of the film.
The main update is that Mario and Luigi are now in their traditional jumpsuits rather than coveralls. We received a lot of complaints for that and knew it had to be rectified.
The other update is that Mario is now trimmer than before. We didn’t want to fall into the trap of making the character squat and ugly, as is so often the case. Bob Hoskins is a very fit man; we wanted to capture that.
