Parker shouldn’t be so modest — he and partner Terry Runté were the first team to work on the sci-fi oriented concept with directors Rocky Morton and Annabel Jankel. They developed the parallel world premise and formed the foundation that later scripters would work from. They later came back and made final revisions, most notably adding the sequel hook. It is for this reason that Parker’s involvement in this project makes our work as canon and official as possible.
Finally, the adventure resumes! We distilled the ending scene from the film by removing the “Mysterious World” moment. This was because we felt that it was thematically inappropriate for starting Mario and Luigi’s new character arc.
And now the famous scene of Daisy bursting into the Mario Bros.’ apartment! As can be seen we’ve given her a bit of a costume change from the film, providing her with a new outfit and a Fry Guy sidearm. Check back Friday for two new pages!
